The community experiences were a great learning arena that taught me essential communication skills. The area of improvement was in communication with the local people, and also the ability to make successful assessments. This is because, in the local settings, it is not possible to assess patients swiftly since most of them come with stories that need to be listened to. This enabled me to learn essential listening skills that help one to understand the patients and filter necessary information for care purposes (Leblanc et al., 2022). In the future, I will be able to handle patients from all backgrounds without feeling they are bothering me and taking a lot of time.

The survey was the evaluation tool used by the audience to provide feedback on the teaching presentation. Through surveys, it was possible to highlight the areas of weakness among the audience at the stage and also to evaluate their levels of achievement at the end of the presentation. This tool was easy to use and also helped in identifying the areas of the presentation that needed more time (Buregyeya et al., 2021) NRS-425 Community Teaching Project – Part 6

The audience and the stakeholders made comments on the usefulness of this presentation and believed that more of such aspects should be used in the future. For instance, they wanted this level of interaction among communities and healthcare professionals to be enhanced (Narapuredd et val., 2021). It was a positive experience since everyone was happy and gave positive comments about the whole exercise.
